As you’re getting ready for the start of session, here are six quick and easy steps you can take to help your students develop information and digital skills:
- Provide students with comprehensive referencing guidance (AGLC4, APA 7th , Chicago, IEEE and Vancouver). Each guide now includes a downloadable quick guide (pdf).
- Add Subject and Research guides directly into your iLearn pages, connecting students quickly to relevant Library sources.
- Point students to advice on generative AI for study and for AI tools for literature reviews (these include links to MQ resources and referencing guidance).
- Encourage students to develop their skills by adding Udemy Business (replaces LinkedIn Learning) resources into their coursework. Find out about Udemy Business, Clickview, O’Reilly and more.
- Link to a Library YouTube playlist (New to MQ, Finding resources @MQ, Skills for Postgraduates)
- Remind students about workshops and dropins
